Adelaide, Australia (Wednesday 1 December 2021):
Prancing Pony Brewery, an iconic and multi-award-winning brewery in the Adelaide Hills, announces its latest venture, a pop-up venue in the East End of Adelaide’s CBD.
The brewery’s CEO, Corinna Steeb, is excited to roll out the sister location, commenting “the venue will make an excellent addition to the East End of the city, and we’re looking forward to working and collaborating with neighbouring venues to really activate the precinct over summer. We’re particularly excited to offer beer-lovers and loyal Pony fans more events and activations to enjoy in the city”.
The venue will bring a taste of the ambience it is known for at the Adelaide Hills brewery, with rustic décor and unique furnishings- each telling a story of their own.
Visitors will enjoy a fresh beer on tap, with 16 Pony beers to choose from. Non-beer drinkers will also be catered for, with a selection of local wines, unique cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from.
The menu will offer a couple of staple Pony dishes, as well as ‘Flammekueche’ (also known as Flammkuchen)- a traditional French-German dish, likened to a thin pizza.
Corinna and Frank have wanted to establish a second venue for the Pony for some time, and say the current climate has brought their decision forward.
The opening is well-timed as borders re-open to travellers, and city activations and events return.
